About 50 cars derailed, don't know how many total. At least 20 derailed cars had hazardous materials in them, 5 of which I referenced earlier. I don't know what is in the other or what the possible reactions may be.
An important thing to note is that while many substance carried by carriers is not hazardous or labeled environmentally hazardous (the black diamond with the dead fish) a bulk container of anything, even water, can be bad for an ecosystem when introduced. A milk truck isn't "environmentally hazardous" but if that truck tips and spills into a lake there's a good chance a lot of fish will die because they can't breathe ~7000 gallons (truck capacity)of milk.
