     @nixCraft It feels you either dedicate yourself to becoming a Linux pro and seriously and continuously studying and learning this stuff, or you're stuck as a clueless noob forever, it's hard to have an intermediate level of skill because every time I learn something, almost guaranteed within a few years they'll change it and I'm pushed back into ignorant noob territory.

     @nixCraft bugs in gpaste like choosing an entry with space or enter triggers these buttons many more times and leads to a lot of wrong input.

     And graphic errors with Nvidia and Wayland. Areas are going randomly black and coming back.

     Also the lack of compatibility with Lenovo Dockingstations. There is only a Debian package with the driver. So you have to unpack it and install it manually and repeat this after every kernel update.

     Also firmware updates for headsets and other devices.

     @nixCraft My biggest peeve, is that manufacturers don't offer it as an install option, and I find it perplexing that users still want to use Windows. Like hitting yourself in the face with a hammer, and asking why your face hurts 🤕

     @nixCraft While there's only one legitimate way to reboot on a command line (fittingly called "reboot"), there are a million different ways to shut down and none of them is as straightforward as "reboot."

     @nixCraft Having to jump through hoops if I want to run an exe with wine or proton. Wish I could just double click to run it. Also some software I've been unable to successfully run with wine, I think because of new dotnet versions, spent like ten hours fiddling with winetricks and was unsuccessful

     @nixCraft Printer drivers; They are hell to set up.

     Turns out it's easier (and sometimes cheaper!) to buy a brother printer than fighting with proprietary HP drivers.
