   the cool thing about my normal writing about fantasy world bullshit instead of alt-history NASA shit is that when I'm done with it, I don't have to close 9 tabs about old NASA missions and soviet lunar excursion space suits.

   It's kinda nice. Don't get me wrong, I love research, but it's cool to not have to ever look up the actual facts on how dragons work

     @foone ah but you do have to keep track of your own fictional history. Inconsistencies in plot can be very jarring.
