Myshkin (myshkin@nicecrew.digital)'s status on Friday, 01-Mar-2024 05:04:02 JST Myshkin The ones I have are getting older, production is down. I might add some this spring, or start a new flock. I’ve had bad luck introducing chicks into an older flock before. lots of pecking and separating.
I don’t just throw chicks in with them, but sometimes they don’t seem to get along when they are old enough to be together- Woggy's Zeonic Frolicks likes this.

Supposedly they're dumb enough to assume anyone who's there when they wake up is part of the flock, but more territorial breeds can take a few days before calming down. If they're separated by a fence for a little bit, seems to make it easier. Can place feed along the dividing line so they kind of intermingle
