@kirby when I first got into linux around that time (2017-18) I had the same thoughts. I thought that linux had no software, my hardware wouldn't work, it was going to be a jank terrible experience all around, and I'd never game again.

It's wild how out of touch most people are with it. Then again if you're not already a computer nerd how the hell would you know the current state of linux?
