   I block people who participate in hellthreads and fail to untag me.
   
   On FSE I blocked about 300 people and that pretty much abolished hellthread notifications. So if you want to keep interacting with me untag me from any conversation that forks off a thread. I don't do party line chats.

     Anyway, in the age of shared inboxes hellthread with that amount of people shouldn't cause any issues aside from maybe lagging people's frontends a bit.

     @judgedread As I recall, that was the hellthread that MKUltra started back in 2019. It swelled to nearly 300 tagged users and became so bloated that it temporarily broke FSE. As a result, Pete ended up having to place a cap on the number of users a post would accommodate, something around 40-45 I believe.
