   All these years later, Apple Maps still suck. I hope Google doesn’t worsen Maps products with its recently found love for AI.

     @nixCraft yes, Maps seriously doesn't need AI. At least nothing on the frontend, perhaps they might make it improve routing in the backend but nothing flashy is needed.

     @nixCraft My gut feeling is that they're probably working on incorporating AI for path finding or path recommendation. Just my hunch.

     @nixCraft I’m surprised how Google Maps is bad in the Bay Area. Apple Maps still have some minor issues, but, in overall, they are better for US compared to the Google Maps.
