@Clover @Arcana @disarray @nyx It's not like you get to choose your neighbors. it's a total roll of the dice. I could get some really wonderful, heartwarming people as my neighbors, or meth heads inventing free energy devices at 2AM. It's entirely chance.
In my opinion, the only winning move is not to play.

@7666 @Clover @Arcana @disarray @nyx It pays to at least be on speaking terms, if only to figure out who the scumbags are. Once you're there you can see if you can turn "hey do you want a hand putting those Christmas lights up?" into "we're out of town for a couple of weeks, can you keep an eye on the place?" or "there's a package on my doorstep I really don't want stolen, can you grab it?".
There's still plenty of people who want somebody to leave a spare key with.
