     @SpurgAnon @Fatidicus the government literally will not subsidize you buying any house on the market less than a quarter million, because they deem them unsuitable for full time living
     
     If you can find a house under 200k that qualifies for FHA, and that offers a job within 3 hours that pays enough to afford the mortgage, please let me know

     You still also end up having to take a loan for 15 something years and the cost is so retarded you might as well forgo till you can get a proper one.
     
     A starter home at worst should be something like 20k-50, basically the same as a higher end common car.instead we have boomer barons selling them in the ghetto for no less than 200k plus tip.
