   devious: cookie clicker (android) checks to see if you're clicking with a mouse, rather than tapping with a touch screen.

   So you actually CAN'T click on cookies in cookie clicker for android, you can only tap them!

     @j0057 yeah, that's what I'm doing. the point of my post is that it doesn't work: cookie clicker checks to see if you attached a mouse, and if you are clicking, it doesn't consider them as valid clicks

     @foone If you really want to, you can connect a mouse to the USB-C port and Android will actually pick it up!

     fortunately I can just make my USB device emulate a touchscreen and now it's none the wiser

     @natty USB-C mice and bluetooth mice won't work. Do you click with styluses? I would consider that "tapping"
