Last year, Steve Huffmann aka /u/spez, CEO of #reddit, enforced an API pricing plan that killed all third party apps, leaving only the piss-poor proprietary app.
He claimed this was "necessary" because reddit wasn't turning a profit.
He got paid $193,000,000 that year. That is roughly 25% of all revenue. Revenue, not profit.
Now he wants to sell all data for training AI - to Google.
