I'll readily admit that I think some historic actions by The Catholic Church seem sketchy, but I'd be lying if I said I trust the modern perspectives on it. The world was a lot harder for people centuries ago, and the necessity for a united front against Islam and other invaders was clear.

  You have to know the history to be able to make a good judgment. Most people haven't read the Koran or read the history of islamic conquest of spain. Or the horror that came about because of it. The Spanish Inquisition was 350 years long but every year muslims kill more people in the name of Ahlla then the entire Spanish Inquisition.

I read that the ones who actually ordered the execution was the government, most of the time they just let those people go.

  You are missing the point though, regardless of if it was 50, 50k, 50 million or 50 billion. It was wrong. But it was prophecied she would do what she did. Your Pope's power was stripped away by Napoleon though, and once that last vial finally pours she will be no more.

  109 a day, wow it might be ridiculous but it happened. The Pope ordered them to be gassed over and over each day, with the money from the devil himself they ordered mass genocide every day. I heard from my priest the other day that the number should be 100 million, not 50, get your faxx straight.

  I am celebrating the fact that the Popes killed 150 million Christians, I am one of Rome's inquisition actually. I helped butcher a hundred Christians a day, just as you said above.

He was right after all, 180 million Christians dead caused by the Popery alone. You know what killed Christians in the Middle Ages? The Pope at that time conjured up the Black Death from Centra Asia to help wipe out Christians from Europe. But they persevered and the Pope at that time failed to wipe some remnants out.

There are things I do not agree with Rome on, such as the concepts of leaving communion with Rome as damnable. Christ gave His Apostles the ability to remit/retain sins, but apostolic succession is not unique to Rome and never was. Nor is the concept of direct prayer to God for repentance a foreign concept, as we see with the Publican vs Pharisee parable.

The problem with being apart from Rome is that she holds the faith, she has that promise, and those who depart for her do so either explicitly to teach heresy, or because they want to be illicitly in charge of their own jurisdiction.
