What we're seeing in New York right now is The Art Of The Deal going on in reverse. The BIG GUYS want to make a deal with Trump. He's hot, he's popular, he's gonna win in November, BUT he's a loose cannon, he plays for himself.

They need to get him on side with the program, so they've allowed this judge to put him in jail until he cuts a deal. He's going to have to make a deal with SOMEBODY. And once that happens you're going to notice suddenly the mood shifts, the heat comes off, and anybody who isn't with the program suddenly finds their immediate family members drowning in puddles and falling out of windows until they figure it out.
