     @MK2boogaloo Aw man it's a lot of arguing about inter RCC stuff.
     
     For the record, I'm Protestant and I like Constantine. He was a force for good. I think you would have to be silly to take relatively modern criticisms of the Catholic Church and use that to write off the main body of European Christianity for all of its history. Martin Luther was a Catholic priest at one point, after all.

     @MeBigbrain yes it's pretty dumb overall, I don't think even Luther nor Zwingli would say bad stuff about Constantine or the Nicean council. I think this is the result of the Americanization of many Protestant churches.

     @MK2boogaloo Idk if it's uniquely American, there seems to be lingering bad blood between Prots and Caths in Europe, but I'm probably just not in touch with all that, my American experience is that Protestants don't think all that badly about other denominations. Most of the hate I see is online. :blobcatgooglyshrug:

     @MK2boogaloo Well I know they're real (Evangelicals, Jack Chick, etc) just not in my life. I've known of Prots who respect priests and nuns and even send their kids to Catholic schools, generally pretty lax attitudes about denominational stuff.
