   The spirit of God, does not condemn and convict people.
   
   Rather the accuser masquerades as God (which is his favorite mask), at every misfortune, at every bad situation, he is there to explain how it is your fault.
   
   It takes humility to admit who the god of this world is, it takes humility to admit that you are overwhelmed by a sea of evil.
   
   It is the call to pride, that says, you have what you've earned, That you don't have anyone to blame but yourself... it just isn't true on any level.
   
   The truth is that you need rescued, and the Gospel is that Jesus would like to rescue you, from your problems, in this life and the next.
