I'm guessing ID3 tags don't allow fractional track numbers.
I can't have a track be number 14.75

I can't have a track be number 14.75
I solved this by multiplying all track numbers by 100
@growf do they allow negative numbers?
@foone They don't even allow zero! How am I supposed to label tracks hidden in the track 1 pre-gap?
I'm working on a script that downloads a podcast and applies proper id3 tags and renames the files, so I need to apply valid data so that music players will handle the songs properly
but the problem is that they have decimal episode numbers.
ARGH they mislabeled an episode so I have two S2E2s, because one of them is really S3E2
OKAY I have released a very limited use tool:
https://github.com/foone/KillJamesBondMP3
It is designed to help you download episodes of the podcast Kill James Bond! and it'll rename the files and ID3 them so you can listen to them on your phone.
@grey thanks!
@foone@digipres.club this is the queerest and most trans thing I've seen all week. thank you.
