Injections over several months allowed people to tolerate larger doses of trigger foods.
@arstechnica I think I heard once of a therapy where people were exposed to very tiny amounts of things that triggered allergies and ultimately could become able to handle the things better. I can only imagine the difficulties it likely ran into. I wonder if a thing like this could be used with a methodology like that to keep very low exposures within levels of what the medicine itself keeps down. Could be interesting if so.
Either way, this may well help save lives, which is never bad.
