     Another reputable group that’s on the ground and providing help directly to victims of the earthquake is Ahbap, an organisation founded by Turkish rock singer Haluk Levent.

     Konuşmamız Lazım (We Need To Talk) is an organisation set up to combat period poverty and menstruation stigma in Turkey. They are providing sanitary products to people affected by the earthquake.

     Human beings aren’t the only victims in the tragedy unfolding after this week’s disastrous earthquake in Turkey, Kurdistan, and Syria: countless beloved pets are also affected.
