Watching #starshiptroopers, this is more like communism. I mean, Stalinism or national Bolshevism, not retarded faggot hippie shit communism. Equality of sexes, race mixing, cosmopolitanism, etc. I'm not seeing the fascism.
To put it in context, in 1997 you could call faggots faggots to their faces and they couldn't do shit. What I mean is that , they couldnt push the boundaries back then that they are today, and it was pushing the boundaries of the norms of the time.

@wishgranter14 Those things weren't really pushing boundaries in the 90s, maybe some of it was when Heinlein actually wrote the book. But my understanding is that the society is supposed to be like a global meritocratic Switzerland, backed by a strong citizen militia. I'm not an expert on Heinlein, but I think he was more of a Goldwater lolbert than anything else, and wanted a strong military to kill communists but otherwise leave people alone. Leftoids obviously are incapable of distinguishing between this and fascism because they are gay and retarded.

@wishgranter14 It was late stage of meritocracy, basically "we solved every single problem with society". Fascism necessities a problem, most of ideologies are. But this is utopia, so its probably closer to Greek interpretation of democracy. But for fags, anything good is bad, some of them will probably argue its fascism, because they are not ruled by jews and dont have hourly holocost reminders, and White man are not extinct and not considered third class.

@ArdainianRight @wishgranter14 It is more fascist than national socialist and in my mind very american actually. The book that is. The focus on military service alone to gain additional rights (as opposed to other contributions such as childbearing and scientific or artistic works) is not particularly NS, especially as there is no concern for race and the protagonist is some kind of spic I think.
The book drives home the need to sacrifice for one's nation, with all the military leaders having lost a limb or several. However, it remains sterile as simply a generic world government without any true identity. Nothing about women being good mothers or preserving ancient traditions.
Starship Troopers is really just about physical sacrifice as a necessary component to survival in a hostile world, and faggots and bugmen don't sacrifice for anyone so it is "bad," and since the people faggots don't like enjoy the film/book, that makes it "very bad," and the bugman term for "very bad" is "fascist."

I think that's the point. It envisions a post-racial world in which all of humanity is assimilated into a singular meritocratic global empire. It's not particularly right-wing apart from acknowledging the need for military force and collective self-sacrifice.

@Will2Power @samjayganges @wishgranter14
Again, Goldwater lolbert. Inherently bluepilled on the subjects of race and sex.
-
@samjayganges @ArdainianRight @wishgranter14 Having women in the military is not very National Socialisty
-
@ArdainianRight @wishgranter14 Yes and like you said he was a lolbertarian. The Moon is a Harsh Mistress has open relationships being normalized I think. Heinlein was your standard degenerate author of the time he just wanted *some* rules and that is a big no no where faggots are concerned.

@samjayganges @wishgranter14
He was most definitely not a social conservative. But even as a lolbert he understood about the need for force to keep predatory entities away. There are many, many layers of retardation baked into our culture, and usually "based" figures are just ones who haven't gotten to the level we're on now, where Twitter leftists will openly defend taking in brain-eating bugs as refugees.

@samjayganges
His endorsement of promiscuity is one of the things that made me not read so much of what he wrote

@ArdainianRight
Before the faggot NAP purism of the internet, most lolberts understood that even in the most free society, you can’t wait for every motherfucker to actually cause the damage before you do something about it. And that you don’t have to give a shit about the feelings of people who hate you and/or will harm you.
