     @thomholwerda @aral @romu700 @h3artbl33d @signalapp simpleX is actually great. It doesn't compress sent pictures, it is faster than Signal and you can have endless amount of channels with the same person because the app doesn't know your recipient is.

     @aral @thomholwerda @romu700 @h3artbl33d @signalapp I didn't even know what that 'exit stragedy' means, lol. I'll use for sending uncompressed pictures as long it doesn't come new Wicker.

     Btw, Signal used to uncompressed too as a file, but that feature has been removed.

     @Nuuskis @thomholwerda @romu700 @h3artbl33d @signalapp It means that simpleX is for sale for the highest bidder (that’s what it means to take venture capital). So who’s going to buy them? Elon Musk? Peter Thiel? Microsoft? Google? Or the public in an IPO, after which their fiduciary duty will be to maximize the profits of their shareholders. Once you take VC, your social mission isn’t privacy, etc., it’s profit.
