   Do it, Mr. Karpathy. Be the next open-source hero. We don't know this, but Mr. Karpathy recently left OpenAI without explaining. He is one of the main brains behind OpenAI and was responsible for firing Sama in the first place. Then he tweeted this. I hope he builds Linux of LLMs.

     Reporters and others asked Sama about Mr. Karpathy's current work at OpenAI before he left, to which Sama replied, "I don't know." A few days after this conversation, Mr. Karpathy left OpenAI. This suggests that there may still be disagreements between Sama and Mr. Karpathy, who is a scientist by profession and believes that AI should be used responsibly and not for profit.
