In my opinion, since the game's story involves alternate dimensions Rocksteady could have avoided a lot of drama by having the big bad bring in the Crime Syndicate, an evil version of the Justice League hailing from a different reality. If the Squad killed Owlman instead of Arkham Batman the fans would not be as upset as they are now, and one of Kevin Conroy's final performances would not have been used for this.
