@chjara Some anti-GG loser was courting the anti-GG side for Patreon money to warrior the page and got away scott free last I remember during the long arbitrations about the page that did jackshit
I do remember people were pissed at some point because his GamerGhazi fundings were handwaved, this I'm pretty sure something like this happened, but I can't find by who, what and how anymore
@coolboymew@chjara that guy was literally addicted to editing wikis, he got temporarily banned from wikipedia which is its own fascinating story, and was having a withdrawal-induced psychological breakdown online and signed up for a bunch of other wikis and subsequently got banned from all of them.
@PostingHellbound@chjara@coolboymew you could definitely find batshit goblins on the other side too, what was the most disconcerting is nobody, basically almost nobody, would kick these people out of "their side".
@Moon@PostingHellbound@chjara Quinn did also disassociate from a bunch of people. That Sarah Nyberg (@srhbutts) one actually did get disassociated eventually
i still think the fuckery and personality disorder quotient of aGG was higher, but it's undeniable that a lot of bad behavior got papered over due to allegiance
like fucking ralph standing in front of the parade lmao. but let us not blame victims for actions of their abusers. I think aGG is actually intellectually bankrupt in this regard because they pretty explicitly ran on Leninist (?) who/whom logic. Arthur Chu phrased it as "no bad tactics only bad targets." And movieblob probably said something in that regard. I think members explaining the norms they derived from the environment is a meaningful predictor. @chjara@coolboymew
