     @verita84 Remember to check its battery once a month or so. I have a cheapo UPS for my desktop that is about a month old at this point, and it immediately shut down during a minute of blackout, taking the PC and monitor with it.

     Oh shit that sucks. My plan is to plug existing smaller UPs to the new larger UPS. Will it work?

     @verita84 I doubt it would do any more good than harm. Better to plug all of them separately into a wall.

     I am trying to go for longevity with the three desktops I use as servers . Separating them may be worse?

     @verita84 Don't know, but most UPSes double as voltage regulators, and so they might not be as efficient when getting modified sine wave from another UPS. Just making an assumption since I haven't risked doing so myself.
