     You only like the left one because it's pixel-exact to the most recent representation of the characters in games.
     
     But those representations change. And honestly, I don't see a reason why Nintendo couldn't change them into what's on the right in a couple of generations.

     @coolboymew@shitposter.club Idk, the only real change is shading. And honestly, that's just how 3DCG cartoons look. I expect 3D cartoonish games to look the same way in 10-15 years.
