Doing some quick math on the Ukrainian state of manpower. It's been reported that 8 million Ukrainians have left the country as refugees and another 8 million are in areas occupied by Russia (this is very very rough approximations so bear with me here). 67% of Ukraine is between 15 and 64 years old meaning 28.8 million people. Assuming the same number of people left or outside the territory across all age groups (37% roughly) means that roughly 18 million people remain between 15 and 64. Excluding women at a 50% parity, 9 million men between 15-64. Assuming Zelensky got his million man army it means that almost 10% of the entire theoretical eligible male population of Ukraine has already been drafted.

And assuming that 150k KIA estimate is correct it means over 10% of the Ukrainian army is already dead
-
@Goetia Roughly 8 million divided between refugees to Poland, Germany, Russia, etc. I'm assuming the number is equal for men and woman because men have to replace positions women could have filled
-
@weaf Has there really been eight million that have left? That seems way too high
Especially since jewlensky has been trying draft any men leaving the country
-
@weaf Yep, the numbers make no sense, my bet is a mix of hiding, left the country and dead (more dead than they reported).
Another data that I think has been overlooked is the mega imbalance in the numbers between captured people from both sides, Russia has WAY more captured than Ukraine (which I take it as an indirect reason to believe that Russia is doing well).
