     also, they aren't going to shell out for PMCs, because PMCs are going to ask for hard currency up front, and the west is broke, everything is essentially scrip ( Germany is basically murdering their economy as we speak )
     
     So they will try conscription because it's the only option they're gonna have.

     @sickburnbro I don't like to think of what would happen if there was mass conscription in Europe. If they managed to send as many Ukranians as they did to the meat grinder despite them having much easier access to guns, I imagine it'd be much worse for the disarmed EU
