@arstechnica I'm really curious what is going on over there. It really feels like they are working very very hard to send a message to all the enterprises using their software and services "we are no longer reliable and will probably do bad things. Seek alternatives immediately. We will screw you over hard later if you don't!" If I ran any business relying on any of their software or services I would have already started a migration process long ago. Are they trying to kill it? If so why?
This is what Broadcom does. They openly hate small business and want them out of their hair so they can rake in the sweet enterprise contracts. So they kill off any products or SKUs that might have been targeted at SMBs.
Seen a Symantec product lately? Probably not, unless you're using their enterprise cloud products. Their SMB products were killed off within months of being purchased by Broadcom.
