@arstechnica Not smart. Typically speaking, when major system functions rely on what can only be described as "an obscure command" this generally translates to "not as well tested and evaluated for security" and very very frequently results in a number of major exploits down the road. (Sure, all stuff that should have been fixed anyway, but not something you want in major system functions used during even the boot process...)
