     @Groomschild I think there's something more to it. They both have similar worldview and ways to govern. I think the only difference is how the Soviet treated tradition and religion, and that's it.

     @Groomschild I think there's more into it, he was akin to Hitler in his foreign policy of pragmatist realpolitik, didn't even pursue World Revolution anymore and replaced it with Soviet nationalism.
