     @Moon @coolboymew Coonskin is another movie that could easily be perceived as insulting towards blacks but was surprisingly respectful, given its name, its parade of racial stereotypes, and its opening song.
     
     still one of the weirdest damn movies I've ever seen.

The Bakshi stuff was great in its own right, as well as Fantastic Planet. Throw in Heavy Metal and its ilk of that era for good times.
     Bakshi was a rotoscoping madman.
