I'm not a fan of the way modern medicine blurred the life between line and death, it destroyed the ritual of dying and removed any dignity from it. At the very least assisted suicide should be legal, but imo there needs to be a rethinking of when "life" is worth preserving. When there isn't any prospect of recovery don't artificially prolong the suffering just because you can keep vital signs going. It's worse for everyone. I didn't really think of this before but there's been a lot of death in my family in the last few years. This can be handled better
