     I really appreciate that I read this statement on mastodon, where I'm reasonably sure it's intended as horror, whereas if I read it on tumblr, I'd be more worried it's erotic

     @jredlund FACT: bee and wasp stingers are modified OVIPOSITORS. So Tinkerbell could TOTALLY have had a stinger!

     @cstross Did Tinkerbell have a stinger? I don't remember one. Perhaps Tinkerbell is not definitive. However, putting stingers on fairies is probably enough to keep the Disney lawyers away, so all good. Hellfire missiles might be too much.

     @MishaVanMollusq @cstross @jredlund I've worked with one of my roommates on designing new eggs molds to be 3D printed so we could then get silicone resin and make her some of her own custom-designed eggs, but we haven't gotten the body-safe silicone mix in yet. It got delayed because of the 3D printer fucking up, as they like to do
