   If you compromise someone's phone, it doesn't matter if Signal is encrypted. If the person you're speaking with has their phone compromised, guess what, they have your messages.

   Neither of these is hacking into a Signal account.

     @Moon @ghast @thatguyoverthere Signal's security theatre surrounding multiple phone OS devices vs their stance on multiple desktop OS devices has severely undermined any trust I have in their ability to have a truly sane security model. Well, that, and tying things to phone numbers in the first place.
