     @SuperDicq one can use our ls1028a processor module coupled with a mpcie/m.2 graphics module to work around this, for example

     I do have a question about the MNT laptops.
     
     Afaik all the components of the laptops are free software, except the memory firmware, right?
     
     Is there any feasible way that you see to potentially make this part free software like for example downgrade to DDR3 memory or some other solution in the future?

     @SuperDicq @mntmn The turnaround time on RYF certification process seems to be quite slow. Basically they would need hands on access with the hardware.
