   An underused fact, I feel, is that nearly all products could advertise themselves as "solid state" these days, as basically none of them have vacuum tubes.
   For example, my phone. Totally solid state, but Samsung doesn't cash in on advertising it as such

     @foone Doesn't your phone have a commutated DC motor (for vibration)? :)
