@bleedingphoenix I get that, I'm just mad that it's blatantly filled with p2w garbage. Honestly I don't give a shit about how good it is or isn't, or how it looks, or any of that "taste" shit, I'm just sick to death of "PREMIUM BATTLEPASS MECHANICS FOR SATISFYING PROGRESSION AND ACHIEVEMENT™!!!!!! :soy_hyper: " being in every damn game under the sun. Which also means it'll be always-online, which is another strike in my book, and grounds to never touch it. The other two might have been FOTM bullshit, but at least you actually got the game when you paid for it, instead of having to pay to unlock each little piece one at a time, in the hopes that you won't realize how much you're spending. :chino_angry:
@Giganova8 the last two FOTM titles were Lethal Company and Palworld. they can be defended to the ends of the earth, but the fact is that the standards are extremely low. this new game's quality of life features and detail already seem more polished than either of the mentioned games, which means people are going to flock to it, especially since it too is a co-op game. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p6eceZzGy0M
@bleedingphoenix $40 isn't wildly unreasonable, I'm more pissed off that they have the audacity to charge you upfront, then nickel and dime you with bullshit microtransactions. And I'm even more pissed that a shitload of people are gonna buy it anyway and make future games even more insufferable. Maybe, by some miracle, they'll actually be reasonable about it, but I highly doubt it given that its got Sony's hands all over it. :iroha_cope:
@Giganova8 given the trend of current FOTM titles, it's more than qualified. the first game had a resurgence last year and this one's been highly anticipated. $10 over Palworld is more than acceptable for people.
@bleedingphoenix >$40 >microtransaction gear system >"realistic" visual design Real shame, I actually liked the first game despite its flaws, this looks trashy and highly forgettable. :akko_weary:
