   @photex @mntmn i'm very used to working with code and feel comfortable creating geometry using numbers and functions vs using mouse based sketches, constraints and gui based modifier stacks. YMMV

     @aphistic @mntmn maybe it's because openscad doesn't do solid modeling/STEP which is needed for CNC. but you can import openscad files into freecad and turn them into solid models (probably with some limitations, but i made CNC heatsinks that way)

     @mntmn This is great to hear! I’ve been flip flopping on what to look into and openscad always seemed more “me” but I always see people using freecad instead.
