   Why do Linux users piss and shit themselves whenever I tell them that I install things from the Software Manager?

     @anonicus Oh, that's because they're all flatpaks IIRC. There's a lot of inconvenience to them compared to not flatpak

     @anonicus At least it depends on the distro. Discover is all flatpak IIRC. This one doesn't seem to be?

     @coolboymew Yeah it's based on the Debian repo if I recall? There's a thing where you can select between repository or Flatpak.

     @anonicus then there's no problems I guess? I don't see why anyone would dislike the graphical repos to search programs, they're nice and way more useful. However, I think for libraries and such, you have to use the command line

     @coolboymew @anonicus I think Discover is multimode, on Steam Deck desktop mode it's flatpak only.
