   For the Class of 1990, MIT admitted way more women and 'diversity' than it had in previous years. As a result, over half of the new freshmen flunked the required freshman physics class, Physics 8.01. I remember talking to a MIT professor in the early 90s about this, he said that a lot of the faculty were angry about dumbing down standards for muh diversity. But the shitlib administration and the cat-lady Office of Admissions called the shots.

   This shit has been going on for a long time, and has been getting worse. Now SATs, classes for smarter students, and other aspects of secondary education are all being eliminated solely to keep niggers from looking bad. Western civilization is in for a long, retarded twilight and decline.

     @pinemarten I find work is much more enjoyable when you remember which naive retards are in favor of affirmative action, so you can even MORE aggressively police them when they start second-guessing this kind of thing.

     Way too many olds love the idea of having it both ways - "well I get having some slots for people who might not make the cut, because they bring some really needed diversity....but there should still be spaces given on merit, too!"

     @pinemarten It's so much worse now. I TA'd for a similar class at my school for 3 years, and I saw the drop in quality year to year. I also knew someone who was going back to school after teaching high school physics for a decade. Basically said "they couldn't pay me enough to stick around."
