  The founder of Eureka says they are pushing ahead with establishing the whites-only town in the Namaqualand in the Northern Cape. Adriaan Nieuwoudt says this will happen despite public opposition. An interdict prevents further construction. Eureka is the second Afrikaner enclave in the province. Orania near Hopetown has been in existence for decades. 3. Northern Cape residents oppose plans for 'whites-only' town
  
  Residents of the Kamiesberg municipal area in the Northern Cape say they will not allow the whites-only town, Eureka near Garies to move ahead. The town was established a few years ago by former pyramid scheme boss Adriaan Nieuwoudt. The town hopes to be a haven for around 5 000 families. Eureka already faces several legal challenges by the Kamiesberg municipality. The Northern Cape already has Orania - another town near Hopetown - that seeks self-determination.
