1. support email with text > I like that this laptop is completely upgradeable, however, nobody is going to want the trackball. Trackballs are notoriously trashy, and touchpads are far better, especially since they support multi touch and gestures, just like a touchscreen. I don't understand the "graphics card" or "audio card", there's literally nothing there, just a board with something else attached, and another board with literally nothing but a cable connector, what makes sense about this? Why not have a proper audio card, and a proper video card? The price is terrible. I've seen better laptops that cost less and have everything included. The glass trackpad option isn't necessary, surely a regular touchpad will do just fine and would be cheaper. A trackball or touchpad only require 3 buttons, right, left and middle mouse buttons, nothing else. People aren't going to be using a built in touchpad or trackball for gaming,...

2. so extra puttons are useless as they ony replicate buttons that already exist on the laptop keyboard. Something like this needs far better than dual core in this day and age, the minimum entry level laptops have at least a quad core or 8 core CPU, or even an APU (CPU and GPU combined). Also, the modules to add into it, or upgrade it cost far too much. I can get a better laptop than this for the cost of some of those individual add ons. A laptop should come fully functional, regardless of whether we have to put it together and it should be basic compared to other laptops as far as what it comes with and the price range. With all the stuff that's not included, l'd be paying 3x the price of my gaming laptop to have something that only has half the hardware of the gaming laptop and is not as easy to use. As far as the keyboard, no laptop should not have a numpad. The numpad is essential for the calculator, and in case the keyboard ever stops working. Accessibility options require the numpad in order to use the numpad as a mouse. If you've ever used an actual laptop, you can easily see what the issues are here and what needs to be changed. If you ever bought a laptop you can see that everything for this, including the device itself are over priced.

  @mntmn hmm, well, with all that said now I want a 10 key on the pocket I ordered.
  Oh wait it uses a rp2040 controller, I think I can just add a second layer, maybe a third for media keys.
  Try that with your closed cheap hardware.

  @mntmn Disagree heavily with whomever sent that. People aren't just paying for a laptop that will never be upgraded again, like pinebook pro, this will receive updates over time with different modules thus, its meaningless for anyone to say such preposterous things. I would hope they are joking like some in this thread said, but I tend to think not. Small minds desire small ideas. Windows 11 is the definition of small ideas and its for that reason its embraced by every lazy mind on the planet.
