     @nixCraft Keep in mind when I say this, I am a cynic through and through.
     In the short run this will hurt, many programmers and artists will a lot of need support. In the long however run this will end up positive. 1. These so called "AIs" are not nearly as good as they've been hyped up to be. 2. It will cause a push for unions. 3. This will lead to a lot on independent studios witch means more quality and less crunch. 4. These companies will need these people back.

     @nixCraft Software devs are not being fucked over by AI at all, we're just getting hit with a wave of greedy horseshit layoffs from all the giant tech companies and an ass-backwards anti-WFH crusade from pencil pushers. Any company who is actually laying off engineers because they believe a fucking LLM can replace a full time developer is off their fucking rocker.

     Artists are absolutely worse off here and equating the two maybe isn't in the best taste.
