I'm not sure if this amazon spec sheet is entirely accurate, because it says this motherboard has a max ram capacity of 10000 TB.
where can I get a computer with 10 petabytes of RAM? that sounds handy

weird thing to see on a motherboard's comments:
it can't play fortnite
not for any compatibility reasons, like it's not fast enough or whatever, but because they supply some software to control the RGB lighting, and fortnite's anti-cheat software flags it as being cheat software
@foone
Aside from the ~1/2MW you'd need to power it...
wait, this motherboard contains marbles?
I'm at that really annoying point in the upgrade cycle where my CPU+RAM are perfectly functional for my needs, but are simultaneously too old to be able to realistically buy replacement parts for.
like I may need to buy a new CPU, not because I need one, but because it'll make it possible to buy a new motherboard
"Asus ROG Crosshair VIII Dark Hero"
excuse me, who got lost and accidentally ended up in the motherboard naming department?
@manawyrm that's the problem I mention otherwhere in the thread! they have one motherboard that will work with my CPU, and the only option I can find to buy it is used
@foone ASRock, you want ASRock these days. Only ones with somewhat sane firmware ;)
okay my perfectly fine CPU is apparently from seven years ago.
I'm frankly amazed I can even boot windows with such a geriatric processor
@foone
