   I'm not sure if this amazon spec sheet is entirely accurate, because it says this motherboard has a max ram capacity of 10000 TB.

   where can I get a computer with 10 petabytes of RAM? that sounds handy

     not for any compatibility reasons, like it's not fast enough or whatever, but because they supply some software to control the RGB lighting, and fortnite's anti-cheat software flags it as being cheat software

     I'm at that really annoying point in the upgrade cycle where my CPU+RAM are perfectly functional for my needs, but are simultaneously too old to be able to realistically buy replacement parts for.

     @manawyrm that's the problem I mention otherwhere in the thread! they have one motherboard that will work with my CPU, and the only option I can find to buy it is used

     okay my perfectly fine CPU is apparently from seven years ago.
