@Yagamaska @locagainstwall @Tamamo @Vidmastereon Original P4 doesn't control like shit due to being designed for a handheld, for one. Other than that, the new features in Golden mostly just make the game too easy and contribute to decision bloat where you have way more options of things to do but none of them are meaningfully different than each other or from the previous things available. Golden isn't "bad" like P3P is but it's far from the "definitive" version of the game they wanted it to be.
Also you can get a PS2 copy of P4 for like $20, and I emulated it on a laptop in 2012 so it's really not that hard to do.

The Vita port came much later.
Funny enough they said they would not make a FES version of Persona 4 back in the day. They sure back from that once Persona 4 caught a bit of hype after launch and they starting milking the fuck out of it. Lying pieces of shit.

Convenience's sake. It's on the Switch and I have a hacked one. What's the leg up on the OG PS2 version anyway? As for "starting and ending" that was me being so cynical that I forgot that the previous/superior versions still exist, even if it means resorting to emulation (high doubts on my GPU though). Get paranoid that someone even those will become lost, or at least tried to.
Once Sonic Origins hit Steam, all previous releases (or just the one) of S3&K got delisted as if to make way for the "remaster", and...yeah we all know how that turned out. Same could happen again.
