     @Wyliesau @weeniewawa but that's the thing. You can't really make "good hybrids" for long haul road transport. I mean, they sure have their use cases like congested city traffic, but on a highway where you're running your combustion engine at peak efficiency 99% of the time anyways, adding batteries, generator and all the shit only adds weight and power losses.

     @Wyliesau @ThatCrazyDude probably the best solution for trucking would be a diesel electric kind of like locomotives do but it would still probably be too heavy. weight and length laws limit most ideas from working plus you are limited by hours of service and business hours of places you load and deliver to, you can't spend all day charging just to arrive too late to get unloaded.

     Looks like kind of an „idea“ but a stupid one at best and super expensive on top of all other coasts you already have as a transportation company.

     Just do GOOD hybrids,
     that’s so far the best and most valid solution.

     @ThatCrazyDude since it weighs so much and takes up space, it is only useful for short haul tater chip and pop corn transportation, just like all the current electronical trucks do today.

     @weeniewawa I'd say that given all the above plus the cost and fire hazard, it's only really useful for milking government subsidies and virtue signaling
