   @xian that's how a lot of franchises, big studios, genre and etc. came to be. This is why I've been pissed at this AAA mess for ages. The absolutely tasteless, designed by committee, focus tested, safe AAA bullshit that has increasingly bloated budget has been a complete plague on the industry

     @coolboymew @xian Honestly I pick the third option. I either play indie games, Japanese games like persona and other jrpgs, or mod Skyrim and fallout to have more flavor and color than almost all modern AAA games have combined. I give Skyrim a blend of westernized and Japanese aesthetics in terms of graphics and content and make it feel truly unique. I get so bored with most AAA games. They are just so dull and uninspired and too safe. just look at Starfield, you will know what I mean.
