I'd ultimately like half of it to become pasture, and the other half agricultural.
Chicken and steers will be in pasture, pigs rotated in the woods.
This year, my only goal is to clean up the land and plan for the next year though. Doubt I'll do animals this year; won't have time.

Matt Hamilton (eriner@noauthority.social)'s status on Sunday, 28-Jan-2024 23:24:12 JST Matt Hamilton I've decided to hire a forestry mulcher (skidsteer with a big grinder) to cut down the junk on 2-3 acres of my land.
All my land is currently new growth (mostly invasive) trees. Was pasture 25 years ago.
I've been thinking about this for the last 3 years but I think it's finally time to just do it. Expensive, but it's going to make the land usable.
I'll cut down the big stuff and chop it for firewood myself.
