     @johnbudd1350 I’m happy to have something to look forward to.

     We got mostly through Spicksfamily last week, started on Komi-san but I don’t like anyone in it but the cute girl, so it’s kind of a slog for me.

     @WashedOutGundamPilot Great taste. If you both want to do a rom com, then definitely pick up "More Than a Married Couple, But Not Lovers." Title is a mouthful but it's one of the best new ones I've seen.

     @johnbudd1350 Never even heard of this one. This actually procs my paranoia just a little bit. I almost wonder if I’m not supporting her looking for stuff because this kind of thing has to be on her radar already.

     Something I’ve done in the past is shit on things people like when they recommend them, which ends up turning them off of ever sending me anything new in the future. Now I’m trying to think of how long it’s been since she brought up a show, because I bet I shat on the last one she liked so now she’s shutting down. I think it was a cooking one or something.

     Guess I’ll need to be more supportive and positive even if I don’t totally love them

     And yeah my ex shat all over Darling in The Franxx (my avatar btw) when I first watched it, looking back I can see why we split. You guys will be fine though, you're contemplative enough and you're already sharing so much together with her.

     @johnbudd1350 Yeah I’m just putting it out loud because it’s a common thing dudes do and it tends to strain things over time. She’ll give you a song she’s over the moon on and you’ll be like “oh ho ho man, this is awful, that’s hilarious!” and she’ll quietly slink off, and never share it with you again.

     Same when you complain about her sending you shitty normie internet crap - if you don’t at least do the minimum in accepting it then you risk her finding nothing and straying into worse stuff

     @johnbudd1350 We all are. Once I learned I did it I try to at least be cognizant of it to do the “mmmm….that one doesn’t totally do it for me but it’s close, I like parts of it, like this….”

     Then you can kind of refine the recommendo’s

     Someone once likened it to women’s instinctive desire to forage for berries and bring them back to her family for applause and gratitude and that’s an adorable mental image
