@Arkana @Fullmetal2255 Yeah but that's not really relevant. Desu is in no way similar "innit", it just states that something "is", whereas "ne" is pretty much the same as "isn't it/innit"
"Ne" is also used in both formal and informal speech -

@locagainstwall @Fullmetal2255 It is relevant. Desu is a part of keigo (formal speech) so it being formal is an important distinction
